Barbican Conservatory

April 2023. I was commissioned to design and deliver two new interdisciplinary, accessible workshops.

I have an ongoing artistic relationship with the Barbican Centre, the largest arts centre in Europe. This has involved performances, workshops, and learning programmes with many of its venues and departments. These include the Creative Development department, the Young Barbican team, the Art Gallery, the Conservatory, The Pit, the 2000 capacity Concert Hall, and the historic St Giles Cripplegate church located within the Estate.

Creative writing and shared rest workshop. I used elements of poetry performance, guided meditation, live sound, and writing facilitation.


I wove these parts together, linked by the idea of dreaming in the presence of the natural world. I have 10+ years of experience teaching yoga, and 5+ in writing facilitation and community education.
